Jade’s enthusiasm towards yoga began in 2002 when she was a school student majoring in Preventive Medicine. With the natural talent and the curiosity toward anatomy and bodyworks, she spent most of her time at school in the laboratory exploring the human body. Jade created her own sequence of movement to stretch the body.  When Jade moved to Shanghai in 2005, she realized that all the movements she had been practicing for herself were so similar those yoga poses printed out in yoga books! She was practicing her yoga!  Jade took her yoga practice very seriously and practiced and learnt from different teachers from all over the world. She studied with Duncan Wong, Richard Baimbridge and Benjamin Finnerty. In 2009, Jade completed her Yoga Teacher Training courses (TTC) with Benjamin, John Walker and Richard Brown. In 2014, Jade has completed her Yin yoga TTC with Jo Phee, and Energetic Advance yoga TTC with Patrick Creelman from Pure Yoga. Since early 2015, Jade started her two years journey of Iyengar Yoga TTC with Riana A. Singgih and Lorraine Aronson. Jade has established a very strong knowledge of the fundamental principle of yoga alignment. She believes that yoga practice is a way of expressing ourselves; to stay connected to our inner true self; and the state of yoga encourages us to follow our heart and reveal our higher potential.  Jade’s experience of teaching Pre & postnatal yoga started in 2009. Most of her students who have been with her before getting pregnant, kept practicing yoga with Jade during and after their pregnancy. “It’s so inspiring to have pregnant ladies and new mommies in the class “. Jade shows her highest respect to those ladies after such magnificent child-birth journey. Moms are the greatest!  Jade’s classes are an energetic expression of physical, mental preparation and comfort by skillfully and safely applying all the alignments in the postures. Her classes are encouraging, inspirational, giving confidence and motivation. Now Jade feels this urgent to continue sharing her yoga practicing and her knowledge to all those special ladies at TMC - introducing midwifery care, active birth techniques and pelvic floor strengthening in collaboration with Sarah (Midwife).
